We drove around for at least 20 mins ...looking for that next foodie adventure. We were warmly greeted in Thai and upon entering it was larger restaurant space than I thought. There was a picture menu and written menu. We a familiar with Thai food but browsing the picture menu reminds you of things that you hadn't considered! The menu is larger than most menus. Things like beef jerky, fried noodles, or the sausage are things that you don't always find on restaurant menus but it was there! The dishes made me think Thai with Chinese influences. There was char siu in the crispy noodles and the sweet/sour shrimp is reminiscent of a shrimp canton. Growing up around Thai and Chinese culture is like eating comfort food for me. While food can be subjective, this fit our flavor profiles and what we expect and are used to quite nicely. We've already told our besties to add this to the dining rotation!
Had such a lovely time here for a lunch. We got Thai Iced Tea, egg rolls to share, and I got the crispy basil duck. We even got extra egg rolls on the house as an appetizer, which was so great. My crispy basil duck came out Hot and Crispy and Tasty. The hostess was super engaging and the place was spacious and clean Def worth a revisit. Thank you!
Drunken noodles with beef were hot and spicy for a great combo. Chicken pad thai was good. Mango sticky rice was delicious. The owner is very nice and friendly. Great family-owned business. Highly recommend spot for good Thai food.

I came to 29 Pad Thai after receiving a recommendation that this is a good spot for lunch. This is a sister restaurant to 9 Pad Thai, so I was happy to try this place. We ordered the drunken noodle and pad kaprow lunch special, both extra spicy, and a Thai iced coffee. Service was nice, and our food was brought out piping hot. The lunch special is $9.95 and comes with a spring roll, so a pretty good deal. The food was tasty, but everything was very sweet, and not all that spicy, so I'm thinking maybe they misunderstood me when I asked for the food to be spicier. I would definitely return, and love to try their other dishes.
This place is in the "soft opening" stage so they do not have their liquor license yet (or I would give it 5 stars) but the food is very authentic. I've been to Thailand and this is one of the few places that I can say "hits the mark" everything tasted great and the service was phenomenal. It wasn't crowded at all (which I liked ) and they checked on you often. We will definitely return in a month or two (once the liquor license is approved )
